General
In addition to sending individual international mailings, you also have the option of booking a multi-country mailing, which is sent via Deutsche Post's Dialogpost International service.
A multi-country mailing can contain recipients in Germany and international recipients, giving you the option of sending direct mail to countries with fewer contacts in your address database.

Requirements
General
- advertising mail: same requirements as for DIALOGPOST National - please read this article for detailed information.
- minimum volume: 500, including at least 50 international contacts
- same sender
- same letter, postcard or envelope format
- same envelope design within one sendout; envelopes with or without window can be used
- internal and external address must match
- same franking within one sendout
Variations
Multiple variations within one mailing are not allowed, this means it must be the same content translated by you into different languages. However, the number of pages may vary due to this translation.
Design & data requirements
To be automation-capable, the layout for DIALOGPOST International must meet exactly the same requirements as for DIALOGPOST National - please read this article for detailed information.
For addressing, the Deutsche Post regulations on automation capability also apply. In addition, the recipient country must be indicated as follows:
- Position: on the last line of the address
- Spelling: written out in full in capital letters, no country abbreviations
- Language: German, French or English

Important: For a multi-country campaign with several countries, it is absolutely necessary to transfer the country to optilyz in the data mapping, as the system does not automatically recognize the target country on the basis of the postal codes.
Franking
The correct franking wave can be inserted automatically by our print partner in accordance with the postal servi.
