Germany
In Germany, it is not necessary to print a return or sender's address on the item, but we recommend it so that your recipient knows where the item is coming from. Choose the address of your choice for this purpose. The standard handling of returns is disposal.
With the help of extra services of Deutsche Post you can get returns back - PREMIUMADRESS. There are different types of contracts that can cover returns - physical and / or digital.
Please be sure to talk to your contact at Deutsche Post about this, as we do not offer comprehensive advice on this.
Important: PREMIUMADRESS should not be confused with our Premium Data Cleansing (where we use Deutsche Post's ADRESSFACTORY service). Premium data cleansing can clean data in advance, but has nothing to do with the PREMIUMADRESS service, which (depending on the type of contract) also handles returns, among other things.
Austria
A return address MUST be printed on the item. You can use your own return address, otherwise the standard address below will be used. The standard handling of returns is disposal (German standard).
If you want to receive returns back, there are two different options: physically or digitally. This depends on whether you use your own return address in Austria on the mailing or the general return address is used.

Switzerland
Swiss Post requires a DataMatrix code (called LetterID) for returns. This can be generated by us. In addition to the desired return type (see table), you must also provide us with a 6-digit order number (numeric). Important: This can be used for another order after 360 days at the earliest.
