Different countries, different customs - also for direct mail.


Read these tips before you create your international mailings, because they sometimes differ considerably.

Austria
  • Barcode area: 140 x 15 mm, bottom right, must be free from image/text and white
  • Franking zone: 74 x 40 mm, top right

  • Barcode area: 140 x 15 mm, bottom right, must be free from image/text and white
  • Franking zone: 74 x 38 mm, top right
  • dividing line: 1,2 mm
  • bold
  • min. 4 mm space between dividing line and recipient address

  • Barcode area: 140 x 20 mm, bottom right, must be free from image/text and white 
  • Franking zone: 74 x 40 mm, top right
  • dividing line: none!
  • space between recipient address and advertising: min. 20 mm
A French return address is mandatory. If there is none, a general return address of the postal service provider will be used (possibly with additional charge).

Italy
  • Barcode area: 140 x 15 mm, bottom right, must be free from image/text and white
  • Franking zone: 74 x 40 mm

Spain
  • Barcode area: 140 x 15 mm, bottom right, must be free from image/text and white
  • Franking zone: 74 x 40 mm
  • dividing line: 1,2 mm

  • min. 4 mm space between dividing line and recipient address
For closed mailings (in envelopes, self mailers), the following must be noted on the back: "Para inspección postal abrir aquí"
Denmark
  • Barcode area: 140 x 15 mm, bottom right, must be free from image/text and white
  • Franking zone: 50 x 35 mm, top right
  • dividing line: 1,2 mm
  • bold
  • min. 4 mm space between dividing line and recipient address

If possible, use standard fonts Arial, Verdana, Times

Font size: 10-13 or bigger 


Danish special characters must be replaced accordingly:


Æ= Ae ; æ = ae ; Ø= Oe ; ø=oe ; Å= Aa ; å=aa


Avoid these special characters in the address field: „ / \ |
