We now offer new options to trigger automated mailings. You can send mailings on specific calendar dates or only on certain business days.

Here is how it works:

Log into your account and create a new automation by adding mailing name and selecting delivery country. After saving you will be directed to the "Postage preferences" screen.

1. Select your minimum recipient volume

This is the most important requirement for triggering automated mailings. The default minimum volume is set to 500 recipients. You are also able to select 5.000 or enter a custom volume of recipients. Please note that the volume cannot be less than 500 recipients.

If the minimum recipient volume is met, the mailing will be booked and printed. For digital print, it takes up to 3 days after the mailing is booked until the mailing is handed over to the postal provider. For offset print, the lead time is 5 days.

2. Mailing dates

Assuming that the minimum recipient volume condition has been met, you then have the option of when the next mailing will be sent. The default option is to generate a mailing on the next available business day.

You are also able to set the next mailing date as one or more certain days during the week, every two weeks or even set several specific dates in the month.

2.1. Trigger mailing on specific business days every week

Click on the dropdown to open the menu and select "every week". Select 1 or more of the days by clicking on the name of the day.

After you have selected your specific business days, please save your configuration.

Please note: If you do not save your configuration, your choice will revert to the last saved option. If you have not previously changed the configuration, this will be the default option.

2.2. Generate an automated mailing on specific business days every two weeks

Click on the dropdown to open the menu and select "every two weeks". Select odd or even calendar weeks and the desired business days.

Once you have finished selecting your trigger criteria, please save your configuration.

Please note: If you do not save your configuration, your choice will revert to the last saved option. If you have not previously changed the configuration, this will be the default option.

2.3. Generate an automated mailing on specific calendar days

Click on the dropdown to open the menu and select "specific days of the month". Here you can select the specific days of the month to generate a mailing. You can add as many calendar days as you want.

Please note: If the selected day of the month is a public holiday or on a weekend the automated mailing will be triggered on the next business day after that date.

Once you have finished selecting your trigger criteria, please save the configuration.

Please note: If you do not save your configuration, your choice will revert to the last saved option. If you have not previously changed the configuration, this will be the default option.

Once you have finished setting up the triggers for your automated mailing you can proceed to recipients validation.
